Campsite reservations for all state of Illinois facilities are made at the facility level, and each facility maintains a record of its campsite availability. Mail-in and phone reservations are accepted; however e-mail reservations are not accepted.

Campsite reservations are not accepted for facilities within the Shawnee National Forest. All campsites and picnic areas are first-come, first-serve.

Recreational Vehicles (RVs) are welcome at many of the facilities mentioned above.
