Privacy Policy


SoIL-Online appreciates the trust you place in us by your use of our services. By providing us with personal information, you give your consent for us to transfer and store that information on SoIL-Online’s Web server. We are committed to protecting the personal information we obtain from you, and we want you to understand and be comfortable with how we store and use the personal information in your registration application and your User profile.

That part of SoIL-Online’s server that stores your personal information is not made accessible to the public, and we use passwords, encryption and other security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access and disclosure. However, the possibility does exist that a third party may illegally access your personal information, so we can not promise, nor should you expect, that your personal information or private communications will always remain private. Also, it is your responsibility to make sure that your profile settings are set to your satisfaction.

SoIL-Online may collect and store (1) the personal information in your registration application and your User profile; (2) any communication resulting from or related to the use of our services; and (3) other information resulting from or related to the use of our services including, but not limited to, computer and connection information, Internet Provider (IP) addresses, standard Web site log information, and statistics regarding page views and traffic on our site. Your hereby give your consent for SoIL-Online to use any and all such information to (1) provide our services and any customer support that you require; (2) resolve any technical problem(s) that may occur with our services; (3) measure and improve our advertising, the content on our site, and our services in general; (4) resolve disputes; (5) prevent potentially illegal activity; and (6) enforce our Terms of Use.

SoIL-Online may disclose some of the information contained in your registration application and your User profile to third parties, but we will not reveal your name, address, email address or phone number(s) without your prior written consent, except (1) as required by law; (2) to report suspected illegal activity; (3) to enforce our Terms of Use; or (4) when we believe in good faith that disclosing that information is necessary in order to protect the property, rights or safety of any person or entity.

If you have any objection whatsoever to how SoIL-Online transfers, stores, uses and discloses personal information as explained in the above paragraphs, then you should not use our services.

The Forum or other software used on our site may allow you to share your personal information either publicly or privately. SoIL-Online has no control or influence over the privacy policy of any third party. If you disclose your personal information to Users of either SoIL-Online or other Web sites throughout the Internet, different rules may apply to their use and/or disclosure of the information that you reveal to them. We strongly encourage you to ask the appropriate questions before you disclose your personal information to any person or entity. We suggest that you make known your privacy practices to other Users, and we request that you respect the privacy of other Users of SoIL-Online.

Some areas of SoIL-Online’s Web site require a login and a password. SoIL-Online’s Forum can be read without logging in, but Users can not post messages until they have a Username and a password. You must provide a valid email address in order to receive your Username and password. If for any reason your password becomes compromised, you should immediately notify SoIL-Online and change your password. You are responsible for protecting the privacy of your Username and password.

Cookies are text files that are commonly used by Web servers to track and validate User account information and login status. Some features of SoIL-Online’s Web site may be available only through the use of cookies. If you set your browser to not accept cookies, you may not only limit your access to our site but also have to re-enter your Username and password each time you visit our site. SoIL-Online will only read cookies that are created by our server.

SoIL-Online will not tolerate any use of our services to conduct or forward chain letters, commercial solicitations, contests, junk mail, multi-level marketing, pyramid schemes, “phishing,” “spamming,” “scalping,” or any other activity that is either illegal or prohibited by our Terms of Use.

If you wish to cancel your account with SoIL-Online, send an email request to admin@soil-online.com; our Administrator(s) will close your account as soon as reasonably possible. SoIL-Online does retain personal information from closed accounts and will only use and/or disclose that information as already indicated in this Privacy Policy.

SoIL-Online reserves the right to change its Privacy Policy from time to time without the notification or approval of any other party.
